Idaho Family Support and Education (IFSE) started with a simple text message between friends.

What started as an idea to help parents with new babies, grew to become so much more!

At IFSE, our goal is to provide support to families who are struggling with ADHD as well as new and expecting parents.

Meet the team!

  • Sarah Miller, COTA/L, ASDI, ADHD RSP, has been working with kids of all abilities for over 20 years.  She began teaching adaptive swimming lessons and ski lessons in high school.  Seven years ago, she found a way to turn her passion into a career working as an occupational therapy assistant. She holds multiple advanced certifications specializing in Autism and ADHD treatment, along with children’s yoga.  Sarah has worked with children birth-21 with a variety of neurodevelopmental, biological, and physical disabilities, along with additional education and training in primitive reflexes and feeding difficulties.  She brings her knowledge and beliefs in mindfulness into all treatments and believes that success in anything begins with a growth mindset and belief in yourself. In her free time, she loves to ski and can be found searching for untouched tracks, enjoying a book by the water, or picking weeds in her garden.

  • Jessica Hill, COTA/L, CPRCS, has worked in pediatric outpatient clinics for over 9 years. She has experience working with children ages birth - 21 years, with early intervention holding a special place in her heart. She has completed extensive training on: primitive reflex integration, child development, feeding, ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, and sensory integration. Jessica works with Harkla, a local sensory product company, to provide quality sensory products to families, therapists, and schools along with digital products including a weekly podcast (The All Things Sensory Podcast), weekly YouTube videos (Harkla YouTube), monthly blog posts, and comprehensive digital courses on primitive reflex integration, sensory diets, focus and behavior in the classroom, and infant / toddler development. When she's not working in the clinic or with the Harkla team, she can be found roaming the foothills of Boise with her 10-year-old son, hiking and enjoying the outdoors!

  • Catlin Jensen, OTD, OTR/L, CASDCS has worked in pediatric therapy clinics and home health settings in the Treasure Valley since 2018. Currently, Catlin is focused on bringing her experience as an occupational therapist to establish and grow Adventure Pediatric Therapy clinic as a neuro-affirming and strengths-based occupational and speech therapy clinic in Boise. She has advanced certifications and training in Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. As a late diagnosed ADHD adult, She has first-hand experience of the strengths and struggles that come with having an ADHD brain. She is fascinated by the role of environmental supports and how implementing strategies can be instrumental to the success of the ADHD person. When not in the therapy clinic, you can find Catlin doing yoga, playing soccer, walking in the foothills or along the river, or playing with her kittens.
